Contemporary Perspectives in Philosophy and Technology is a forward-looking book series that seeks to address the profound and often complex interplay among the different traditions of philosophical inquiry, technologies, and educational research.

ISSN: 1537-3924

Aims and scope

Each volume of the series delves into critical questions and emerging issues at the intersection of these fields, providing readers with a nuanced understanding of how technology influences our philosophical outlooks and vice versa.

The series seeks to include manuscripts which take up key topics such as but not limited to curriculum studies, settler colonial studies, teacher education, technological studies, educational philosophy, posthumanism, artificial intelligences, digital ethics, literacies, and citizenship, science education and the societal implications, possibilities, and dangers of technological progress.

By bringing together contributions from leading curriculum studies scholars, educational philosophers, researchers, and interdisciplinary thinkers, the series offers a comprehensive and forward-thinking analysis of the most pressing contemporary technological challenges and their implications for public education.

Designed for scholars, students, and intellectually curious readers, Contemporary Perspectives in Philosophy and Technology aims to foster deep reflection and informed debate about the future of humanity in an increasingly technological world governed by and with artificial intelligences.
