Advances in Dual Diagnosis in Older Adults

We are pleased to announce a call for papers for a themed section in Advances in Dual Diagnosis Journal on Advances in Dual Diagnosis in Older Adults.

This section aims to explore the latest research, clinical practices, and innovative approaches in the assessment, treatment, and management of dual diagnosis (co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders) in the older adult population.

 

Scope and topics

We invite submissions that address, but are not limited to, the following topics:


•    Epidemiology and prevalence of dual diagnosis in older adults
•    Diagnostic challenges and strategies
•    Innovative treatment modalities and interventions
•    Integrated care models and multidisciplinary approaches
•    Impact of dual diagnosis on cognitive function and physical health
•    Policy and practice implications
•    Case studies and clinical experiences
•    Advances in pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments
•    Prevention and early intervention strategies
•    Quality of life and long-term outcomes
