Aims and scope

Advances in Cement Research highlights the scientific ideas and innovations within the cutting-edge cement manufacture industry.

It is a global journal with a scope encompassing cement manufacture and materials, properties and durability of cementitious materials and systems, hydration, interaction of cement with other materials, analysis and testing, special cements and applications.

Award-winning papers

Each year, the paper rated best by the Editor will be given the prestigious Advances in Cement Research Prize.

Awarded annually since 2016, this prize is presented to the best paper published in Advances in Cement Research.

Each year we award authors from both industry and academia who have produced work judged by their peers to be of exceptional quality and benefit to the civil engineering, construction and materials science community. Papers outside of our archive (published after 2002) are free to read here in perpetuity as part of our commitment to furthering knowledge and best practice.
